The Risk, Uncertainty and Decisions Group at IE University provides an interdisciplinary platform for advancing our understanding of how individuals and groups make decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty. The group consists of full-time faculty members and doctoral students from the areas of Marketing, Operations, OB/HR, Entrepreneurship, and Accounting at IE Business School as well as from the IE School of Human Science & Technology.
The research scope of the group is broad and encompasses normative, descriptive and prescriptive approaches to studying human decision behavior in a variety of corporate and public policy making contexts. Moreover, research conducted by members of the group employs a variety of methodological approaches ranging from lab and field experiments to analytical modelling. In addition to promoting research and teaching activities, the Group hosts a monthly seminar series and offers decision-making related courses across the entire spectrum of IE University’s programs.
If you wish to learn more about us or are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in the areas mentioned above, please feel free to contact us at rudgroupie@gmail.com.
